New Chapter...

In my previous entry, I mentioned it's about time this blog gets a new look as it's been lookin the way it does for 2 years plus already! I've given it some thought, and I've decided to create an entirely new blog with a new layout, etc. Everything new!
I won't delete this blog. I'll let it remain here, and I've exported all the entries from this to the new one. And from now on, I'll be blogging from the new blog and let this old one retire.

So... Tata old 'crazyhazydreamer'! It's been a great 2 years and 1 month. Now, it's time to create a fresh new chapter in a fresh new blog.

2 years and 1 month old

Wow, this blog is now 2 years and a month old! I didn't realise I've been bloggin for a couple of years already. Wow!!

There has been a lot of changes in my life lately. I'm still trying to figure things out. And I wanna make positive changes and try to realise things I've always wanted. So... Fingers crossed! Wish me luck!

I think it's time this blog get's a new look. After 2 years looking like this, it's time for a change...

For the past 2 months...

A lot has happened in the past 2 months. A lot of ups and downs. More downs actually but I'm trying to be strong, facing the challenges head-on and making the best outta the situation. Hoping for the best and taking time out to figure things out. Do a lil soul searching as to what really matters most to me and maybe, make decisions that will change the course of my life. Well, I dunno... Just kinda taking my time, trying to relax, rest and then after I make up my mind on what I wanna do, I'll go for it! Full on. Give all that I have to ensure I achieve it! Wish me luck, strength and all the best in my choices in life ;)

Okays, enough of all the cryptic ramblings about life... Let's move on to happier and more happening topics. First being Suilin's farewell party at Daikanyama. She's gonna be working in Brunei. Gonna be based there. So, us girls went for a nice jap dinner with her at Daikanyama before being joined by many others later when we proceeded upstairs for drinks. Headed to Velvet [where else??] to end the night. Suilin's now in Brunei, settled down I hope and enjoying her new work, environment and life there.
Met up with my very recent ex-colleagues for lunch at Alexis BSC one weekend. It was so nice to meet up with the crazy gang. Really miss them lots. Miss the daily lunches, goss, discussions and all the funny and crazy drama.

VM got free tix for the Guinness event ~ Arthur's Day held at Sunway Lagoon. Many acts were lined up for that night but the most anticipated and undoubtedly most exciting performance was from the Black Eyes Peas. I was guessing most of the people in the massive crowd were anxiously waiting for BEP to take on the stage and rock the night away. And rocked they did. BEP was awesome!! Really super super awesome. Fergie, one of my fav female singers did a solo of 'Big Girls Don't Cry' and will.i.am took to the deejay console and spun a few hits. Needless to say, they made everyone's night and got everyone super happy and excited.

As for me, got to Sunway after going through the mother of all traffic jams at the LDP. Getting into Sunway was another huge jam. Then, finding parking was a headache. The entire place was jammed up coz of the event. Was late to meet VM, Alan and YY. Super hungry too. Ate a Subway sandwich quickly then proceeded to enter the Lagoon. Felt a bit too dressed up but I was thinking if this thing ends early, I'll go meet up with Y and he might be down in KL at Phuture or something. So better be dressed js in case.

The way to the surf beach was lined with lotsa GAB stuff. Some really cool deco. When we reached the actual venue it was packed and we wandered around for a while, quite lost as to where we wanna go. In the end, we decided to hang out at Gravity Bar. Hadta line up for I think close to an hour before we finally got in. Entertained ourselves by snapping lotsa pics.

Once in there, got ourselves 8 pints of Guinness Stout. Then, looked for a place to chill and wait for BEP to come out. I had lotsa fun, though was quite annoyed at the huge mist fans that ruined my hair and made me look like a mad woman in pics. Was grooving away at BEP's songs. Towards the end, I was totally blown away by the awesome fireworks display. Not cheap to be able to do that. I kept feeling GAB was burning away thousands and thousands of dollars just for that few minutes of fireworks. Hahahaa...

Bumped into lots of old frens. It was nice seeing them after so long. It's always a nice feeling to bump into long-time-no-see frens unexpectedly. The 'pleasant surprise' feeling and all the catching up was indeed fun ;)

Didn't really take lotsa pics with my camera coz VM, YY and Matthias had their cameras practically stuck to their hands to whole night. So, I let them do all the pic-taking work while I drank, danced and posed... Hehehe...

Had great fun that night. Alan was abandoned by his designated driver so I hadta send him home. The boy didn't even know his way home!! Gave wrong directions and we got a bit lost. Apa la!!!

Went to Velvet last Sat for JP's birthday. Was tired coz spent the whole day at the shoot. Whole body felt so achy. Really need to go for a massage. Alison was there, so was Lil Elaine and Foxy. Glad to be hanging out with them. Haven't done that in a while. Jessie was MIA. She was in JB for an event.

JP shares the same birthday as my sister Jebbrine. Which is on the 4th of Oct. But of coz she's much much younger than him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEBB!!! I KNOW U HAD A GREAT ONE ;)

My sister and her frens rented a beachside house in Addy to celebrate her birthday. From her pics in FB, she looked like she had a blast. Her frens were so super sweet to do all this to make her day extra special. They even baked her birthday cupcakes themselves. This is what I call real good frens.

On Jebb's actual birthday, which fell on last Sunday, while she was enjoying herself by the beach, I met up with the girls from Intercos. Goodness! How much has changed since we all last worked together in Intercos. At that time, all of us were single girls. Now, 2 are moms, 1 is a mom-to-be and another is registered and planning for her wedding in March next year. Come to think of it, I'm the only one that remained unchanged, still single, the only thing different is that I now have a special someone in my life, Y. When I was working in Intercos, I was really single, SINGLE. Like no bf single. Now, I have a great addition in my life in the form of a loving bf ;)

Arin, Michelle's daughter, seemed love-struck the moment she laid eyes on Y. The whole time, she was staring boldly at him, smiling, chuckling and got really excited whenever Michelle took her near him. At one point, she was playing footsie with Y, when we put her next to him. Wow... Talk about starting young... Hahahaha...

May's lil baby daughter was super cute, with dimpled arms and legs. Felt so 'geram', wanted to pinch her. But I didn't! Hahaha... Jovin [I think Jo gave her this name] super like to smile. She smiled easily at anything and anyone. Such a pleasant baby.

Jureen will be delivering her baby in Dec. It's gonna be a girl. I feel quite anxious for her coz when I imagine the birth, I can practically feel the pain already!!! But I guess it's worth it when she helds her bundle of joy in her arms. That's what all my frens who are moms say. The pain is worth it. I'm not so sure I'm feeling the same way as them. Haha... Kinda wanna postpone this as long as I can. Guess I'm really not ready for all these :P

It was great to meet up with my old frens and ex-colleagues these past couple of months. Had so much to catch up and talk about. Also met up with niece Mel for lunch last month. So good to see her again after so long. She never failed to crack me up with her natural comical self. Hehehehee...

Looking forward to see what the end of 2009 brings me. Hopefully from now on, it'll bring more happiness, joy and a clearer path towards making my dreams materialize ;)

Stop the Yelling Kid!!

OMG!!

Here I am, watching a couple of movies in my room and guess wad pierces through the wall that disrupts my peace? The sound of a kid yelling. Not just 1 yell, but continuous yelling. High pitched piercing kinda yell. This kid has a lot of stamina to be yelling for almost 10 minutes straight now. OMG! What's wrong with the parents? Are they deaf? Can't they hear their kid? Don't they realise their kid's super annoying yelling gets on people's nerves??

This is ridiculous. I can't even watch my movie in peace! Can't believe I'm being harrassed in my OWN ROOM!! Sigh... Wadever happened to discipline? Parents these days are just lousy in parenting for allowing such nonsense to exist.

My Birthday Pressie ~ AT LAST!!!!

Not his fault for the delay of the present. It's just that I couldn't make up my mind what I want and when I finally did, the thing I wanted was sold out. Took me so long to finally make up my mind on getting this purse. Glad I finally did! :D

I have yet to get Yaacob his pressie. I've decided that this arrangement of us deciding what presents we would like to receive for special occasions is totally not working! Coz the presents will be delayed like for 6 months!! So, from now on, I'll just go out and buy wadever I wanna buy for Yaacob for Christmas/ birthday/ V-day/ Anniversary/ etc. Don't wanna wait for him to decide what he wants then go and buy it. Coz it'll take forever. Same goes to him. He'll just hafta figure out what to buy for me instead of asking me wad I want. I think it's better this way. No more delays.

Okies, wanna go have my dinnner now!

We Love Our K-Sessions

We love singing in karaoke!

Had a k-session with my now ex-colleagues at Red Box Gardens. Supposed to have abt 8 ppl but in the end only left 5 of us coz the rest ffk last minute. Hmmph!

It's ok. We still had loads of fun. The less ppl, the more mic-hogging time ;)

Finished the stout and a jug of beer, a jug of OJ, a jug of 7-Up, a fruit platter and snacks platter. Wow!

Sang from 10.30pm - 3am. Songs lined up from the very begining til the end. Sang non-stop. Wow! We have a lot of stamina. Hahahahaa...

I had lots of fun, u guys! Thanks for making it happen :)

Byeee, Genting!!

My colleagues threw me a farewell lunch at Grandmama's @ Pavilion on my 2nd last day at GMB. So drama, everyone gathered at my desk, like waiting for me to lead them to the restaurant, when all of them know where it is. Quite pressured, coz even my boss was standing there waiting for me. He then commented I'm like a YB, and they're all my entourage. LOL, as if!

Since I was the VIP, I was in charge of ordering the food. Hope wadever I ordered were ok. There were too many of us, so we had 2 tables. The next table's food looked better than ours though. Their drinks as well. My table only had plain water. Hmmm...
After eating, I decided to go over to the other table to talk to my colleagues. I ended up taking photos with each and every one of them. Went round the table like it's some kinda photo opp.

Then, we tried to do the 'Alan'. Alan has this very distinct way of posing with his face whenever he takes pics. He'll do puppy-dog kinda eyes, frown a bit and push his mouth to 1 side. Don't ask me why he does this. But he does this EVERYTIME he takes pics. Very rare to see him smile normally in pics.

After that, we walked around Pavilion for while before returning to the office. This was my last time walking around with YY, Matthias and Alan as colleagues *sob sob*

Forced Alan to pose in front of the Esprit backdrop. Teman-ed him to the Canon and Sony shops coz he's looking for a camera. Wonder which one he'll eventually buy... He doesn't own a camera at the moment, though all of us nag at him to get one, since he's such a poser! LOL

Feel really heavy hearted leaving my team ~ JY & Chloe...

Will really miss my lunch buddies ~ YY, Diva Alan & Matthias...

Will need to get used to just 1 hour lunch break and hafta be more disciplined and walk into office right on time...

Will miss all the shopping in Pavilion coz it's so near and convenient...

Will miss also shopping for all the cheap stuff in Sg. Wang...

*Sobs*

But, this move is for the better. Can't stay in my comfort zone forever. When you stop learning and progressing, it's time to go. Go on somewhere better to learn new things and be better! So, yes! This move is good. It's important! It's a step up in my career!

Still, I'm feeling nervous. Hope I'll be able to perform up to expectations. Hope my new colleagues will be as nice as my old ones. Hmmm... *Fingers crossed*
