Pavilion

Chriz: “Eh, if you guys want to go check out Pavilion later, don’t eat there. Eat somewhere else first then only go there. The water system in there’s not properly fixed yet so the restaurants will prepare the drinks using god knows what.”

That was the warning we got on Tuesday right before lunchtime from Chriz. She left the office already to meet some friends for lunch. I guess she found this out from her friends and decided to warn us against eating at Pavilion.

I was away for training during the opening on the 20th of September. So now, 5 days later, I decided to go check it out [kiasu-ness setting in. Didn’t want to be one of the last few who don’t know how the interior of Pavilion is like : P]

We went for lunch at Secret Recipe first [because Evonne had a sudden craving for cake] then walked over to Pavilion.

It’s really really huge. From the outside, it doesn’t look as big as it really is. Gosh, it’s so huge. And the shops there are just fab!! Only about 40% of the shops are open. The others are still under renovation. Tangs was not open yet, but Parkson was. I heard that the tenants are forced to open their shops on the 20th of September or they’ll be fined RM5k per day until they open shop. Don’t know how far this is true.

Anyway, Pavilion is impressive. With its promise of so many high end shops and the interior is nicely done. The concourse is a huge space with shops around it and a trendy café.
