A Very Wet Wedding

Went for Yaacob's secondary schoolmate's wedding at DU yesterday. It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived. The whole wedding venue was wet. We helped ourselves with some food while waiting for the bride and groom to arrive [the groom went to get the bride at her house in Puchong].

We finished our food and waited for the bride and groom, who finally arrived after about close to half an hour. After taking pics with them, we congratulated them and said our goodbyes.

Went to 1U for dinner in the evening. I had a list of things to buy: mom's yoga mat [which I wanted to buy since Thursday], my groceries [to stock up my office drawer :P] & Ginger's birthday pressie [she turned 6 on Thursday. Felt quite bad for not celebrating her birthday for her. For the past years, I've always gotten her a nice doggie meal and a pressie ~ toy. I really didn't have time this year... Sigh...].

I managed to get the yoga mat for mom and my groceries but forgot about Ginger's pressie [Shit! MUST remember to buy it tomm!!!]. Felt really tired and I could feel a headache coming...
Yaacob and I went to get the car to head home. Then, he did the sweetest thing...

The moment we got into the car, he pulled out a single white rose [white roses are my fav!!] and gave it to me [I was so surprised!! Really touched :) Heart felt all warm and fuzzy...]... So sweeeeet!!!! I can't help smiling to myself even now when I think about it :D

Took a couple of pics of the rose before it withers:

Yaacob is really the sweetest guy ever... I know I sound like a lovestruck 15-year-old when I say this, but, really, he really is a very sweet guy!! Just a couple of days back, he bought me Teddy [the name I gave the Mr. Bean teddy bear he bought me]. I couldn't believe he actually remembered the silly little request I made some time ago ~ I actually told him that I wanted him to buy me a soft toy [yes, I know it's a bit tak malu]. I know I'm not a kid anymore, and I'm not supposed to make silly demands like this, but I couldn't help it. It was a spur in the moment thing, and at that time, I thought it was a good idea to ask him to get me one so that I could put it on my office desk and be reminded of him when I am at work :P

Anyways, being the sweet guy he is, he stopped at the Famous Amos stall at Ikano while we were walking past and said "Hey, you wanted me to buy you a teddy bear, right? Do you want this?" He pointed at the Mr. Bean teddy bears in various sizes hanging from a stand at the side of the stall. "Yessssss..." I replied, barely containing my delight. So happeeee.... I chose the nicest looking bear and he paid for it. I was so delighted that I felt like skipping all over the place. I had to mentally remind myself to just walk normally next to him and not do anything silly :P

Here's a pic of Teddy:

Isn't he cuute??!! :D
