Glitz & Glamour Awards Gala Night

This was the theme for Yaacob's company's annual dinner last Saturday, held at 1 World Hotel.

The hotel was pretty impressive. The Christmas deco includes a huge Christmas tree and a gingerbread house.

I wore 'the dress' to the dinner. Remember in one of my previous posts, I wrote that I was hunting for a suitable dress? Yup, it's for this dinner!!

Glitz and Glamour Awards Gala Night!! Of coz I gotta dress up for the event. I felt rather anxious when I was getting ready coz I was afraid I'd be overdressed. But, much to my relief, a lot of ladies at the dinner wore long dresses, some even more elaborate and OTT than mine. Their hair was styled much more stylo-milo than mine. I just had mine curled. Hehehee...

Anyways, it was quite an ok only dinner. The food wasn't so great but the lucky draw and raffles draw prizes were. There was an ipod touch to be given out, an LCD 32" TV, a home theater system, a PSP, RM2500 worth of airfare to anywhere in the world, etc. I was sooo hoping Yaacob would win something coz I didn't win anything at my own annual dinner the night before :'( [will blog about my 'Sexy Black' annual dinner later]

Most unfortunately, Yaacob didn't win anything... Sigh....

Harith Iskandar was the main act for the evening. He was seriously darn funny. Poking fun at Amber Chia, our 'angkasawan', our culture, etc. Really really funny. I couldn't believe how fat he was. He was so fat even though we were in an air-conditioned room, he was sweating profusely. Even from the stage, I could see his bald head glistening with sweat. At one point, a lady passed him a tiny face towel to wipe it off. Ahahaahahahahaaa...

When the dinner ended, Yaacob and I proceeded to the main lobby to take some pics:

After that, we changed and went to Bar Savanh II at Mont Kiara for Lam's supposedly birthday party. Why I said supposedly? Coz my dear boyfriend got it wrong. Or something conveyed the wrong message to him. It's actually somebody else's birthday. Not Lam's. Lam's actual birthday is today [Happy Birthday, Lam!!] and we'll celebrate it at Mambo tomorrow night.

Was really tired that night. Left Savanh early to go home and zzzZZZZZ...
