Hold The Lift Door, Damnit!!

How hard izit to keep the lift door open for just mere seconds in order to let someone hop in? Does it require so much energy to do so? Or does it take a 100 years to do so?

The answer is:

NO!

So, I was really baffled when this disgustingly dressed lady [she was garbed in a loud ugly green outfit with equally ugly designs decorating the top] who looks like the ugly stepsister of Cinderella [only uglier... Hmmm... On second thought, she looked more like an 'aqua'] decided NOT to hold the lift door for me even though she obviously saw me running towards to lift. She was alone. Standing near the lift buttons and clearly saw me from where she was standing. Yet, just lifting her hand to press the 'OPEN' button was just too much for her to do. She just gazed lazily into space and allowed the lift doors to close right in front of my face!!!

@$%! What the F***!!!! I was so angry, I couldn't stop the words "BITCH!" from coming outta my mouth right as the doors closed. I'm sure it was loud enough for everyone within the lobby and that bitch lady inside the lift to hear. Ooopps!!

But really... What the freaking hell is that drag-queen-lookalike's problem? Why can't she just hold the lift? It's not as if I'm gonna take an hour to reach. Why? WHY?

I really can't understand. Why can't people be nicer and more considerate towards each other. If I were inside the lift, I'd definitely hold the lift for her, no matter how hideous her outfit was.

And, many times, I held the lift for people, only to be met with ignorance and silence 99% of the time. What happened to manners? A simple 'thank you' will do, ok?!

Also, what's with people who can't seem to wait to get into lifts? Why do they stand right smack in the middle of the lift entrance, waiting for the doors to open? Don't they understand common courtesy to stand at the side and allow people from inside the lift to get out before getting in? Come on, the lift's not gonna go anywhere. It's still gonna be there for another few minutes. Not like if you don't enter the lift the very moment the doors open [and blocking the people inside from coming out] it'll just vanish into thin air. Such kiasu-ness is unbelievable!!

I just wish the public will be more considerate and have more courtesy towards one another. We're all human beings who are taught manners. Not brainless shitheads. Coz the behaviours of those who:

1) Just don't care enough to hold lifts for others
2) Dunno how to say 'thank you'
3) Barge into lifts the moment the doors open not caring whether they block the people inside from getting out

are just plain brainless shithead behaviours!!

you shouldve just stuck your hand btwn the doors and slammed them open. they respond to very little pressure. then spend the entire time in the lift staring at her. thats what i do anyway haha

Good idea!! I will definitely bear this in mind the next time I encounter this. Thanks!
