Happy Mother's Day!!

On Mother's Day, I woke up unusually early [for a Sunday] to have dim sum breakfast with my family at Imbi Palace. Why Imbi Palace? I dunno... My cousin suggested it. I was the last to wake and the last to get ready [partied the night before, so had some difficulties getting up :P Was lying on the bed at one point comtemplating whether to really go for the breakfast or not. But it's Mother's Day, so I should be a good daughter and spend the day with Mom]. We reached a very very packed Imbi Palace at close to 10.30am. We hadta self-service coz there were too many customers and too few waiters.

After the breakfast, or should I say, brunch, we went to Pavilion. My uncle and aunt and Mom have not been there before, so we thought we'd bring them there to walk around a bit. I ended up buying a pair of heels from Vincci :P

We then went to Sunway for the Scholl sale. Goodness! The heat was unbearable. I bought a couple of emmery boards and a nail shaper coz it's just so cheap. RM10 for 3 items. Mom bought 2 pairs of Scholl shoes [the shoes cost about RM80-180 even on sale!] and some foodstuff.

I was riding in Jeremy's car and he kept on complaining about the heat and how he wanted to have cendol. So, in the end, on the way home, we stopped by Taman Mayang to have cendol.

I got home so exhausted by the long day filled with so many activities, I accidentally fell asleep while lying on my bed. I actually wanted to cool off coz it was such a hot day. The moment my head touched my bed, I was in zzzz-land.

Woke up an hour later and got ready for dinner. Shu brought us to this Thai restaurant in Sungai Buloh. I didn't expect that area to have such a grand looking restaurant. Check it out:

We had a good time. The whole family spent the day together. Very rare :) I hope Mom and aunty Pat had a good time. Soo and I gave Mom a bag as a pressie since Soo said Mom really wanted a white bag. I hope she likes it. She used the bag on Mother's Day itself when we went out. Wish Jebb was here as well...

Oh well, she'll be back real soon. Can't wait!
