King Crab!!

Yesterday was a pretty productive day. Why? I woke up early and got a lot of things done instead of lazing on my bed til afternoon :)

Having lunch at one of my fav cafe is always a good start to a day. And that's what I did. Ordered one of my fav dishes and my all time fav coffee, I was all happy and full by the time we left the cafe.

Yaacob had quite a productive day as well coz he got himself a pair of new shoes and a new top. We went hunting for a camera [yes, it's my super-delayed birthday pressie but I am really not in a hurry to decide on which one to get, coz kiasu me wanna wait til really good models come out in the market before making a decision. My heart was pretty set on 1 camera but it doesn't come in the color that I want, so the hunt is still on...] yet again, then checked out some shops. I tried on a couple of jeans and some tops at Armani Exchange and I totally hate the fact that all the clothes there fit me like a glove!! Why? Coz it's bloody expensive!!!! The top that I liked cost RM800 plus. I definitely can't afford that at the moment. RM800, man... I'll be able to get a new much-needed handphone with that amount of money. Sigh... I want more $$$$, so I won't hafta go thru so much stress. It's agonising to find something you really really like and can't get it coz:

1) Can't afford
2) Can't fit

Case in point right now is ~ can't afford :'( The 2 pairs of jeans really fit me well and a particular knit-grey dress hugged my body and accentuate all the right curves. Sigh... I *heart*!!! Wait, wait... Patience... I am pretty sure I will be able to work my way into getting more $$ in the near future. Just gotta work harder in my career. Then, I'll be able to get ALL the things that I want without a worry in the world... Heheheheeee...

Went home after that and bathed my lil doggie [she really needs to be sent to the groomer!!! Her fur's all over... Covering her eyes, etc]. My mission on gaining weight is really going well coz, I managed to tuck in a hotdog while I was at Gardens then I ate a huge pancake with lotsa butter [yum yum] when I got home. In the evening, I went for seafood dinner at King Crab. Hah!! I GOTTA gain some weight after eating so much!!!!

It's been a while since I had seafood dinner so I was really excited. Saw Loo and Lam walking to the restaurant while looking for a parking and Yaacob decided to give them a bit of a scare by pretending to run them down with his car. The food arrived late [we ordered vegetables, taufu, chicken, prawns and crabs!!] but it was all good coz we had good conversations going on at the table about various topics and the guys never failed to make me laugh with all their funny jokes and stories. Jessie came late [from work... Poor thing, gotta work so hard even on weekends]. She's working on a really important project and was pulling all nighters so often, she looked really exhausted. So, it's no wonder, she wanted to go home and rest right after dinner.

The rest of us continued by going to WabiSabi for drinks. Kenny, Suilin, Yaacob and I arrived first and the boys decided to have a bottle of sake. We practically fell outta our chairs when the waiter lined 4 HUGE sake bottles in front of us for our selection. Gawd!!! What was he thinking? He wanna kill us all off with the sake???!! He tried to convince us we will be able to finish a big bottle in 1 night [which I think was impossible] but Lam had a bottle of vodka there and it turned out to be brand new, so in the end the boys settled for a small bottle just to taste the sake.

Clement came to join us not long after and we continued our conversations about various things before calling it a night at about 1.30am.

A day well spent with good food and good company... Can't ask for a better Saturday :)
