Yippeee... Dad's finally coming home!! In 3 days time...
He's been gone for about 20 days. Where? To the U.S. [so envious!!!]. He went to New York for the veterans' football match [some old men's World Cup. His team won!!! Yeay!!!!] and he extended his stay to travel here and there. He told me he was going to NY, LA, Canada, Alaska and many many more places which I couldn't remember. Sigh... Wish he could bring me along... I don't mind a long vacation...
It feels quite unsafe without Dad in the house. We made sure we double lock all the doors but still feel insecured. Doesn't help when our next-door neighbour's house was broken into in the middle of the day 1 day before Dad flew off. Sigh...
Before he flew off, we made sure he had all the necessary items to keep himself warm [especially in Alaska]. So we bought him a beanie, a scarf, moisturisor, lip balm and made sure he packed lotsa warm clothing.
Dad emailed back a few times to keep us posted on where he was and what he was up to. He got all of us handbags [happeeee!!!] and himself 4 pairs of jeans [he claimed he won't need to buy jeans for the next 10 years. Wow, didn't know 4 pairs of jeans can last a decade :P].
So excited!! Can't wait for him to be back.
