Why??
Coz:
- The days are super long
- Nothing to do except sit quietly and listen to the trainer [bored la!!]
- Food sucks BIG TIME!!!!! Imagine eating lousy food with no taste at the SAME restaurant 3 meals a day for THREE DAYS!!!
- Training room felt like the dead of winter in London
- Can't sleep coz room was stuffy [can't open the windows as our room was located right above the kitchen and greasy fumes will get into the room and stink up everything] and it was super noisy with people singing karaoke til late into the night
- I broke a couple of my nails [ok, I know this is not relevant to the training, but what the heck...]
- My tummy felt sick for 3 whole days
So, I am super happy to be HOME SWEET HOME!!
Oh, oh, I just remembered, there was 1 highlight. During dinner on the 2nd night, we got to see the 'Smiling Moon'. Very rare sight. 2 stars located above a crescent moon and shaped like a smiley face. Quickly snapped pics of it. Dunno whether will be able to see this again in this lifetime.
Dunno why there are karaoke sessions organised during dinner for both nights. There were only a handful of people from my department at the training. 90% of the attendees were from the sales dept. They had fun singing on stage. Not us. We retreated to our rooms right after dinner. Anti-social?? Nope. Just that we're really tired. Did I learn anything from this training. Yup, a bit, which are useful for my job.
Okay... Wanna go eat now...Ta!
