Our V-Day - A Week Later

I told Yaacob directly I want perfume as a present for Valentine's. Tommy Girl specifically. Coz it's my fav scent. It's the first perfume I've ever bought and I *heart* it!!

I gave him a couple of t-shirts and 2 types of cute lil cookies presented in a nicely wrapped gift box. He bought me my perfume that came in a gift package, with a free pouch.

We exchanged gifts on Valentine's Day, went out to KLCC to sort out our new phones and walked around.

Then, we hung out at home.
We celebrated our 3rd Valentine's a week later than the actual date. Coz we didn't want to be victims of greedy restaurants, florists, retail shops who take the opportunity to 'chop' people's wallets on the day of 'luurrve'. I hate that Valentine's Day has become more and more commercialized!!

So, last Saturday, we had dinner at this lovely restaurant called 'Werner's on Changkat'.

It's a refurbished 2 storey shop. Very nicely done up.

Food was great. I had pasta and a glass of apple martini and half a choc dessert. Yaacob had soup, steak and one and a half dessert :)

I told Yaacob no flowers! Don't buy me flowers during Valentine's. It'll cost a bomb and totally not worth it coz the flowers will wither and die. I can't keep it forever. Don't get me wrong, I'm like any other girl, I love flowers, but I just don't think I want my poor boyfriend to fork out a fortune just to make me happy on this day. Well, he can get me flowers any other day when florists are not out there to cut throat.

All in all, I'm happy. I think the most important thing is for Yaacob and I to spend quality time together. Then, we won't need Valentine's Day which only comes once a year to feel all lovey dovey. Everyday can be Valentine's Day if we really appreciate each other's company ;)
