Joanne and I co-planned a surprise birthday party for Jessie. We picked Schokolart as the venue coz the colors and deco are so 'Jessie'
[pink, lavendar, white, etc... All sweet pastel colors].

We went to buy flowers, balloons, picked up the cake, etc earlier that day. Then, in the evening, Joanne went to pick Jessie up on the pretense of bringing her out to a fancy restaurant for dinner while the rest of the guests and I went to the restaurant to set up the place. I must say, well done, ppl! The party area looked fantabulous and so 'Jessie'.

In came the birthday gal
[she was late!] but she was very calm. Didn't look surprised at all!! But she told me she was. She didn't expect all of us to be there coz her friends are all varied and don't know each other. Well, good job, Joanne, for being able to bring together all of us via Facebook! Hahaha... The power of Facebook!

The food was great! The entree especially... Have you ever tasted choc coated satay dipped in peanut sauce? If you haven't, then go try it. So yummy!! And the dessert was sinfully delicious, with a lot of chocolate and mashmallows!! *Drool*

We presented Jessie her cake then the restaurant decided to make her a birthday drink on the house. We told her to finish the drink and she loudly said she would
[but in the end, she didn't!!]. The bartendar had to light up the sambucca
3 times, still she didn't finish her drink! Then, we teased her on getting drunk and she said she wouldn't
[but in the end, she did]. Talk about
'famous last words'!!

Then came the time for her to open her pressies. The most touching one was from Joanne, which made her cry. Aaaaawwww!

After that, it was the end of the party. Time really flies when you're happy.

We ended the night by playing 'rummy' at my house. Hahaha...
Happy birthday, bestie! Glad you had a great time :)
