My Last Workshop with My Crazy Colleagues

Went for the Tech Marketing Workshop [organized by Matthias] for 2 days at AGH. Was hoping this will be the last time I ever need to attend training, but I didn't know my wish would come true early in the morning when I was on my way there ;)

Had a quick un-delicious and cold breakfast at the Golf Terrace then proceeded to the training room. Thank goodess there's wifi in the room, coz I'd surely die of boredom if not for my trusty lil itouch. Created a twitter account for YY and got her to tweet for the first time in the middle of the training. Haha...
The training session ended a couple of hours before dinner time, so we hung around at the tennis court for a while, waiting for time to pass. Alan was taking tennis lessons from SH and don't be fooled by the pics! He was busy running around and getting all sweaty not coz he was really playing a game of tennis. It's coz he was busy picking up all the tennis balls he'd hit all over the court. LOL! Oh, and Chloe played in her jammies and slippers. Terror!!
I got bored watchin them play tennis and went to Bun Strap for some sweet dessert. Haha... Yes, dessert before dinner. That's me!
Right after I finished my dessert, it's time to go for dinner. We walked to the shuttle stand to wait for the shuttle. It will drop us off at Gohtong Jaya, where we'd have dinner. Goodness, we were ambushed by a lot of Middle Easterns when we wanted to get into the shuttle. They obviously were not introduced to the terms 'manners' and 'queue up' coz the moment the shuttle arrived, they walked to the front of the line and starting cutting the queue. So uncivilised!!
Finally when we got into the shuttle, we quickly grabbed the nearest seats we could find. The ME were still getting into the shuttle. There were so many of them. At long last, when the whole shuttle was full and the driver couldn't squeeze anyone in anymore, we started moving. The entire shuttle was filled with an awful smell. Don't the ME shower? Or maybe it's their perfumes? I dunno, the stench was really unbearable. I hadta pinch my nose and breath thru my mouth the entire time.
The shuttle offloaded all the ME at the skyway station, then headed towards Gohtong Jaya, to our stop. I was horrified that we hadta get off at the bus stop at the side of the road and hadta walk about 1km to reach the restaurant!!! Aaaargghh!! I was tired and hungry. Help!! Still hadta walk??! Sigh...
Was greeted with the other attendees of the workshop when we reached the restaurant. How they got there so fast? Some of them drove, so the others hopped into their cars. The moment we sat down, we were spoken to in an extremely rude manner by the youngest and most junior member of the group. She's also the most junior in my department. Hmmm... Who does she think she is to speak in such rudeness. Her expression, tone of voice and choice of words... Not exactly wise to be behaving like that since she's still so new. Not worth it to piss the senior people off. Coz, will never know when she'll need to work with them. I for one, certainly don't appreciate such behaviour especially from a junior. If she's over performing at work, then it seems reasonable that her head might have gotten a bit to big coz excelling in her work. From what I heard, she sucks. Big time! So, why wanna be rude?
Didn't really enjoy dinner. Food's ok. We had lotsa uninvited guests aka flying lil bugs that like to attack our hair. Sigh... Quickly ate then went off.
Hadta walk 1km back to the bloody bus stop. Oh, before I forget, Alan morphed into Dylan [his other personality who doesn't talk, doesn't laugh and doesn't really do much except brood and ignore people] when we were waiting for the shuttle back at AGH. So, throughout the entire dinner time, it's really awkward coz he's being so Dylan!! We bought a few bottles of beer on our way back. Waited for quite some time before the shuttle arrived to bring us back to AGH. Dylan made new friends with the mat salleh family sitting beside him at the bus stop. Hmmmm... Weird. Dun wanna talk to us but talk to strangers.
After showering, we went to VM's room and began our drinking and goss session. So fun and so funny!! Hahaha... We didn't have a bottle opener, so guess how we opened our bottles... Matthias! His teeth to be exact. Amazing, huh? I won't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. Terror! Haahahahahahaha...
Woke up bright and early to continue our workshop. The only more interesting speaker was the NuffNang dude, Tim. He has such passion for his company, it showed in everyway. How he spoke, how his face was always smiling, etc. Wow! Haven't met such enthusiasm in a long long time. He's one of the founders of NuffNang and it's doing well. Expanding all over Asia and Aus as well I think. And he's young. So, good for him.

Had Chinese lunch at Rajawali, where we took turns trying on Carol's glasses. Do I look good with glasses? Dunno... Kinda not used to it. Haha...
Then, finally at 5pm, we were released. Yay! Happily went home. Happy not only coz the training's ended, also coz of the good news I got :D
